Every visitor to Formentera lands here. A ferry terminal, a marina, a row of rental offices and two salt lagoons behind, three kilometres from Ses Illetes and from the capital Sant Francesc.
The short answer
La Savina is the port on the north west coast of Formentera and the only way onto the island. Ferries from Ibiza port arrive in 30 to 35 minutes and dock at the terminal, with the marina and the rental offices for bikes, scooters, cars and boats right beside it. Sant Francesc is 3 km south, Ses Illetes 3 km north and Es Pujols 4 km east, all reachable in 10 minutes.

| Parking or port | Ferry terminal, marina with visitor berths, fuel dock, paid parking. Summer vehicle permit needed for cars from Ibiza | Town council |

| Rental that fits | Scooter or bike on arrival, boat from the marina, house anywhere on the island | Local team |
The terminal and the marina share the same waterfront. Ferries unload straight onto the road where the rental companies line up, so most people are on a scooter within fifteen minutes of docking. Behind the port sit two lagoons, Estany des Peix, a shallow inlet full of small moored boats, and Estany Pudent, the salt lagoon that the walking paths circle.
If you come by private boat from Ibiza you can berth here for the day and rent bikes, or simply anchor off Ses Illetes and skip the port. If you come by ferry, this is where the day starts and ends, so check the last departure time before you leave for the beaches.
