Es Pujols sits on the north coast of Formentera, 4 km east of the port of La Savina and 4 km from Sant Francesc, about 10 minutes by scooter from either. It is the only place on the island with a resort feel: hotels along the front, restaurants on the seafront, a craft market on summer evenings and a sandy beach split in two by rocks, with the fishermen's boat huts at the end. Ses Illetes is 10 minutes by bike.

Es Pujols is where Formentera keeps its hotels and its evening. The beach is sandy and shallow, divided by a rocky point, with wooden boat huts on rails at the eastern end that appear in half the island's postcards. The promenade fills at sunset with the craft market and the restaurants behind it, which is the only real nightlife the island has.
For a stay without a scooter it is the practical choice: shops, dinner and the beach on foot, Ses Illetes a ten minute cycle away along a flat path.
